Windows, Macintosh and Linux

I have many years experience on Linux, Macintosh and Windows, and I manage and maintain networks with all three types of computers.

Using the right tool for the job is important, as is using tools that you are comfortable with. For desktop computers I would recommend Macintoshes or Windows machines, depending on your experience, and needs. For server use, Linux is a more reliable choice in most cases.

What's most important is what your business needs are. That will dictate the type of machine that will suit you the best. Software you need to run, will many times be the deciding factor in what computer you will buy, because many packages only run on one type of computer.
